Help Me Ride for Unity and Hope – The Jo Cox Way
This July, I’m taking on a challenge that is far beyond anything I’ve ever done before – cycling 295 miles over 5 days from West Yorkshire to London as part of The Jo Cox Way.
I will be 58 years old, I’m no athlete. I usually cycle around 20 to 30 miles at most on a ride – nothing like what lies ahead. For the first four days, I’ll be pedalling around 60 to 70 miles per day, the first day through the hills of the Peak District. The final day will be a gentler 30 miles through London – but by then, I’ll need every ounce of determination to finish.
This ride is more than just a personal challenge. It’s about coming together in the spirit of Jo Cox’s legacy – celebrating community, unity, and hope over hate. Every mile I ride will be in support of those values, and your support will make it all the more meaningful.
If you can spare a donation – big or small – to help me spur me on, I would be incredibly grateful. It’ll help keep me going when the climbs get tough and the legs get tired.
Thank you so much for your support.
