In loving memory of Joan Cartwright, 1941-2024

Mum loved to give back and was constantly thankful for what she had. She supported many charities and good causes throughout her life. She constantly baked her lovely cakes for village and church events, she did an annual collection for The Children’s Society, and she gave blood until she reached the cut-off age. One charity that Mum really appreciated in recent years was Wakefield District Age UK, where she joined in their regular Cuppa Clubs, meeting old and new friends, and always looking forward to the next event.

To remember our Mum and to hopefully help make a difference to other older people’s lives via Wakefield District Age UK, we have started this JustGiving page. Thank you for your support x
