I am taking part in the Tadcaster Big Swim All-Nighter Challenge starting at 5pm on Saturday 18th through to 5am on Sunday 19th November to raise funds to keep the pool open during the winter months when heating costs shoot up.

I am supported in this challenge by Vodafone Foundation who will match every £1 that I raised, up to £750.

Update:

My first swim started at 5pm. I achieved 4k, the furthest I have ever swum! After a rest, sandwich and cupppa, I got back in the pool with Sara and achieved another 3k. The challenge finished with a session starting at midnight. I completed my final 3k at 1:30am. See photos added.
