We have decided to take on this challenge to raise money for this fabulous cause after our wonderful mum (Carol) was diagnosed with vascular dementia.

Carol is still in the early stages of this horrid disease, and you would only recognise the very subtle changes in her if you knew her incredibly well, as we do. We know that we all have a long road ahead of us all as mum gets older and she gradually starts to forget more. We don’t want to focus on the negatives that are ahead though, and want to be as positive as possible. Making lasting memories along the journey.

My name is Carla and I will be joined by my sister Jayne on this challenge. We will be holding some little events, such as coffee mornings, mini raffles and I’ll have doggie raffles in my grooming salon also. So really hope to make our targets of £300 each.
