Story
We are hosting a ‘Big Brunch’ event to raise money for the mental health charity, Mind.
Please support our fundraising efforts by pledging your donation securely here – to help even more people get the information and support they need when experiencing mental health struggles.
It's a cause very close to our hearts. People we love have lost their battle with their mental health, and some struggle on every day, whilst others support those who are struggling. We are all affected in some way. That's why the Mind charity is so crucial in raising awareness and funding support for this in need.
If you’re wondering why we’re raising money for Mind, here are some facts and figures about mental health in England (and that's without the stats from Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Scotland and the USA where our team members are based)
• 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem of some kind.
• 1 in 5 people have suicidal thoughts and 1 in 14 people self-harm.
• Only 1 in 3 adults with a common mental health problem are currently getting treatment in the form of talking therapies, medication or both.
• £10 pays the cost of one call to Mind’s Infoline where people can speak to a trained expert.
Thank you in advance for getting behind our campaign for positive mental health.
About the charity
How does Mind make a difference?
It changes minds – by making mental health an everyday priority and by standing up to the injustices – in healthcare, in work, in law – which make life harder for those with mental health problems.
It supports minds – by offering help whenever it’s needed through information, advice and local services.
It connects minds – by bringing together an unstoppable network of individuals and communities – people who care about mental health to make a difference.
