Hi there, I'm Jay and I'm asking for sponsorship to take part in a programme where I will be going to The Gambia to help widen the perspectives of myself and those around me whilst helping the local community.

What is this?:

My goal is to go to The Gunjur in The Gambia to Discuss our cultures widening our perspectives of the world. The key thing I want to give back to the local community is some spare tech that you can donate to us.

What will I be doing?:

Throughout the trip, I will be paired with one of the locals who I will get to know personally.

Together, we will work to set up a technology workshop.

Any donated laptops and mobile phones are for the locals to use in day-to-day life and for further education. Currently, many people find further Education difficult or outright impossible to pursue due to a lack of access to technology and most vitally the Internet.

I am looking to raise at least £500 by the 12th of May. Any further funds will support TTV to continue organising these incredible opportunities. If

Tech donations will go a long way to help close the digital divide in The Gambia and allow aspiring students access to the Internet.

I will be writing a blog of my experiences paired with photographs which are open to being shared around to anyone interested in learning more. You

The blog will contain photographs of The Gambia taken by myself and our Gambian partners and the tech workshop I hope to create

with the support of my Gambian partner.

It will also include accounts of my experiences and the life of my Gambian partner

Donations are not necessary to view the blog but any contributions are greatly
