MUM, I’M RUNNING THE LONDON MARATHON!!!
For someone used to hide in the bushes to avoid cross country at school.. and has hardly run since, I am honestly in disbelief that I’ll be running a Marathon this April!
But when myself and five of my closest friends got places to run for Macmillan, it was a complete no-brainer.
As many of you know, my mum, Suki, died of melanoma in the summer of 2023. Sukes loved running. She loved all exercise and, during lockdown, would constantly beg me to run with her (halfway across the beach I usually called it quits!). She would absolutely love that we’re taking on this challenge.. I can hear her laughing away as I am writing this!
With 1 in 2 people getting cancer at some point in their lives, charities like Macmillan are more important than ever.
Training has officially started, with Mum shining down, I couldn’t ask for better people to do this with. Myself and Team Suki are so grateful for all your support.
Any donation, no matter how small, truly means the world and helps Macmillan continue their incredible work.
Thank you so much 🤍
