The JBC UK Provinces are hosting a charity bake sale in memory of Robert (Bob) Melrose.

Held on the 4th or 5th of December, where all proceeds will be donated to the British Heart Foundation.

A few words from Bob’s nearest and dearest

To each and everyone, a man with the biggest heart, a heart like no other.

A loving heart, bursting with pride that put family on a pedestal. Never would we worry, feel alone or go without. Nothing else ever mattered.

A lion heart, whose Leo trait wasn’t to shout, but to care, protect, support and allow his sincere actions be his judgement.

A proud heart, that beamed always, and as Robyn’s skipped a beat on her wedding day under the lights of his beloved Marriott.

A selfless heart, with a quick laugh or chat in the smoke shelter, always had time for others and put them first.

A heart that forever danced with his adoring Elaine and more recently alongside his grandchildren on TikTok.

A sweet heart, whose love of treats and Costa descended to all.

We’d give absolutely anything for that heart to beat once more.

Without a sign or a symptom, the precious heartbeat of our world sadly passed away, a day before his 62nd birthday. We only hope peacefully. Our hearts are broken but we know our hearts will forever carry his beautiful legacy.

Today 460 people will die from a heart or circulatory disease. That’s 460 too many.

Alone we are a voice, together we are an ocean.
