Raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust

On 25th September, we're swapping our usual workwear for our favourite band T-shirts — all to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust.

Our goal is to raise £500, but we'd love to go beyond that if we can!

💛 Why Teenage Cancer Trust?

Every day in the UK, seven young people aged 13–24 hear the words "you have cancer."

Imagine being told that at a time in your life when you should be worrying about exams, starting a career, making plans, seeing friends and simply enjoying being young.

Cancer can turn all of that upside down.

Teenage Cancer Trust provides specialist care and support specifically for young people with cancer. Their nurses, youth support teams and specialist hospital units help young people through treatment and, perhaps just as importantly, help them feel less alone by connecting them with others their own age.

It's a fantastic cause, and one we really wanted to get behind.

👕 So what are we doing?

It's simple!

On 25th September, the team at JBT Marel Proseal will be wearing their favourite band or concert T-shirts to work.

Whether you're a lifelong rocker, a pop fan, a metalhead, an indie kid, a punk, a country fan — or you've still got that questionable band T-shirt you bought 20 years ago — this is your chance to wear it with pride! 🎸

And if you're able to, we're asking people to make a donation to our fundraiser.

💷 Give what you can

There is no set donation and absolutely no pressure to give a particular amount.

We know that things are difficult for many people at the moment and that everyone's circumstances are different.

If you can comfortably give £1, £5, £10 or more, fantastic.

If you can't donate right now, that's absolutely fine too. Taking part, wearing your T-shirt and helping us spread the word is still supporting the event.

Every donation, however big or small, helps us towards our £500 target.
