Lake District Challenge 2024 · 11 July 2024

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

On Thursday, 11 July JCDecaux UK colleagues will come together as One Team to tackle the Lake District Challenge. This challenge aims to raise awareness for the British Heart Foundation, honouring the memory of our late friend and colleague, Rob Wadsworth who passed away recently.

Our colleagues will be tested physically and mentally as they lace up their hiking boots and set off for an intrepid adventure, tackling either the 5 Peak Challenge (6–7 hour hike) or 10 Peak Challenge (12–14 hour hike). Both courses will start in the village of Buttermere and take the hikers on a tour of the panoramic views across the Lake District.

The BHF funds groundbreaking research into heart and circulatory diseases, supports patients and their families, and campaigns for healthier lifestyles and better treatments. Their work saves lives and improves the quality of life for millions of people affected by heart conditions. Their mission is crucial in the fight against heart disease.

Please, if you can, support our Lake District Challenge and help us honour Rob’s memory by making a donation to the British Heart Foundation. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference. Together, we can help the British Heart Foundation continue their life-saving work and make strides towards a world free from fear of heart disease.

Rob’s sudden passing has saddened us all here at JCDecaux UK, and we’d like to share our deepest condolences to his friends and family.

Thank you for your support.
