What We’re Doing

In 2026, we’re raising money for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice by taking on a series of fitness and endurance events across the year.

As a team, we’ve committed to completing the following challenges:

Wickersley 10K – Sunday 8th May

Total Warrior – Sunday 28th June

Hybrid Games Newcastle – 15th & 16th August

York Relay Marathon – Sunday 18th October 2026

Rather than one-off fundraising, we wanted to commit to something longer-term that keeps us accountable across the year and allows us to raise as much as possible.

All funds raised will go directly to Bluebell Wood to support the work they do with children and families.

At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, we care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions. We support hundreds of families, both in our hospice and in family homes.

Our support services are wide ranging and bespoke to each family; including overnight care, music therapy, counselling, sibling support groups, home visits and much more.

It costs around £6.5m to keep our doors open for families across South Yorkshire and beyond. Statutory funding makes up 16% of this amount and the rest is raised through fundraising.
