As I celebrate my 90th birthday, I certainly don't need anything, but I do want to offer some hope for the future - and what better cause links Oundle and Africa, two places close to both my & my family's past, present & future.

So I am doing a Zipwire challenge (Hangloose Adventure Bluewater) in the hope of making a real differnce to the chilrden at the Marafiki Trust, set up in Dec 2019 by Liz and Nicola, with 100% of funds raised in the UK currently supporting two organisations in Kawangware, Nairobi.

Real Hope (RHYCO) Centre runs a drop-in centre to offer emotional and educational support to children close to living permanently on the streets. The Joyful Hearts Centre (JHC) supports children with cerebral palsy who have no other help. Even the cost of posting a birthday card would make a huge difference to the lives of some of the poorest children there.

Any donation, however small, would help change lives and give hope: thank you so, so much
