Story
Hi, my name is Jean.
On Sunday 25th January 2026, after 10.5 hours, I completed an Ultra Challenge; walking 26.2 miles or 42km, so survivors don’t have to walk their journey alone!
Every step I took was in solidarity with survivors of rape and sexual abuse and every donation helps ensure they receive the specialist, compassionate support they deserve.
This was my first Ultra Challenge™ London Winter Walk 26.2 mile Full Marathon. I chose to do this walk to raise vital funds specifically for Rape Crisis South London, a UK charity that provides life-changing emotional and practical support to survivors across South London.
💜 Your donation makes a real, tangible difference:
👉🏾£10 can provide sensory supplies for play therapy
👉🏾£36 can fund an hour of advocacy support through the criminal justice system
👉🏾£75 can offer one-to-one talking therapy
👉🏾£95 can deliver group therapy, creating safety, community, and healing
👉🏾£295 can help schools and community organisations access sexual violence prevention training
Survivors often say that emotional support is the most important part of recovery yet demand for specialist services continues to grow. Rape Crisis South London relies on fundraising to keep their doors open and their services accessible.
By donating, you’re not just sponsoring my marathon walk you’re helping someone feel believed, supported, and less alone at one of the most difficult times of their life.

Please donate if you can, share if you’re able, and help me turn 26.2 miles into meaningful change.
Thank you for standing with survivors and supporting Rape Crisis South London.
