By holding an Afternoon Tea this summer, I'll be helping to raise the money needed to drive forward life-saving research and give vital support.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer 14 years ago now, but it's as important now, as it was then, to help raise awareness, and funds, to understand and get rid of this disease. We need to encourage everyone to check their boobies regularly, find out what their "normal" is, some have naturally lumpy bits, or are lopsided. So it's not just feeling, but looking too. I still do this, even tho I only have one.

Come and have sandwiches, tea (or coffee) and cake with me and have a lovely afternoon, with friends, and of course, a raffle, to help me reach my target of £500. Put the date in your diary - 5th July
