I’m taking part in a race from London (the Palace) to Brighton Pier — and it will be my first time doing this challenge.

I’ve decided to use this opportunity to raise money for Guild Care, a local charity that has been supporting people in Worthing and the surrounding areas for over 90 years. They provide essential services for older people, carers, and families with disabilities, making a real difference in our community.

To be clear, all registration fees and transport costs are covered by me personally, so every donation will go directly to the charity.

I’m doing this because I feel it’s time for me to give something back to civil society. Community support, kindness, and solidarity matter — and this is my way of contributing.

Any support, no matter how small, would be hugely appreciated.
