As a passionate supporter of Kids Village, I am climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in February 2024 to raise awareness and funds for this truly exciting project.

It seemed like a good idea when I signed up 12 months ago but it is feeling pretty scary the closer it gets. I know I shall need to show resilience, courage and fortitude if I am to reach the summit but, with Sammie and Jamie joining me on the climb, I shall be learning those qualities from the experts!

Kids Village will be the UK's first purpose built village for children with critical illnesses and their families. The idea for this fabulously unique facility was borne out of the Fletchers' own personal experience of Sammie's childhood cancer and the charity is founded on the key strengths of passion, understanding and commercial experience. Planning permission was granted in late 2022 and everyone is now working very hard to make sure the Village can welcome its first families very soon.
