Story
I am running the Sydney Marathon on 31 August 2025 and dedicating my run to the memory of Jeremy Edwards who was widely known as a great engineer, a global leader in his field, a visionary who was liked by so many people whose life he touched. Tragically I lost a great friend and Arup colleague, in May this year at the age of 49. This has been a devastating blow to me as we worked so closely together for almost 20 years.
Jeremy was a fellow runner who poured his heart into Dig Deeper - his family are raising funds to support the 353 charity trust and I am raising funds for the same charity to support Jeremy's family . This will be my hardest marathon as Sydney is considered the hilliest world major marathons. At the tender age of 69 I am no spring chicken myself. And I hate hills !!
Please support Jeremy's memory as he would be so chuffed that you are doing something that was so special and close to his heart. My heart goes out to his family and three children but with your support you will also be doing something special for them too.
