Story

On Sunday, 17th May 2026, I'm embarking on the longest solo challenge of my life…

I'm walking the entire length of the UK — from Land's End to John O'Groats. Over 1,000 miles, 60 days on foot, camping and carrying all my own kit.

Sounds tough? Well, not compared to the brutal road some are forced to walk.

In the last 10 years, I have lost my brother David, business colleague Kit, close friend Ian, and my wife's cousin Julian — all to an incurable brain cancer, Glioblastoma. It is a ruthless killer that cuts lives short and leaves families broken-hearted and bereft.

Despite having the highest cancer mortality rate, brain tumour research is one of the least funded cancer programmes in the UK. The Brain Tumour Charity is working tirelessly to change that — and they are who I'm proud to be raising money for.

Please support me on my long walk north. Together we can help forge a brighter future for people like my brother David, so that more people can live longer and better lives.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
