Giving children an education and access to books not only radically changes their literacy outcomes, but encourages them to stay in school.

Southern and Northern Nigeria have free education but have a lack of basic facilities, for example toilet infrastructure, facilities, and classrooms are overburdened. Gender equity in education is a huge issue, with girls being married very early and expected to stay home. Despite this, our partners in the Nigerian Government are keen to address this, and fully equip schools. I am raising money to donate free books to schools.
