Running challenge ahead — and I’d love your support! 💙
I’m taking on a running challenge to raise money for Psoriatic Disease UK. Living with psoriatic arthritis can be tough, some days it leaves me unable to do basic tasks — which makes this challenge feel even more meaningful and motivating.
No one really understands how hard it is to live with and I would say 99.99 percent of people I have met have never heard of it, which makes you feel extremely lonely. The flare ups are unpredictable and have caused my fingers to look bent and swollen. Every joint in my body has been affected by it and causes extreme pain.
After having my first child recently, I’m determined to turn my life around and making the most of the days I can move. So I’ll be starting with a 12k trial run in the North Yorkshire Moors, followed by a half marathon at the end of the year! I will be eating properly and training my arse off to get to where I need to get to.
Every mile is about raising awareness, supporting others living with psoriatic disease, and pushing myself further than I thought I could.
If you’re able to sponsor me, I’d be so grateful — every donation, big or small, makes a real difference. And if donating isn’t possible, a share would mean just as much!
Let’s do this 💙
