Hi, I'm Jem and I manage a tabletop football channel on YouTube called Gasbbuteo.

In May this year I'll be running the Bristol 10k on behalf of, and to raise funds for, the Bristol Rovers Community Trust.

Bristol Rovers Community Trust works with a wide spectrum of the community offering social inclusion, health, education and sports participation projects to give people the opportunity of enhancing and improving their life choices. The aim is to engage and inspire people of all ages as well as unite the communities in which they live.

Having the opportunity to run for the Community Trust means a lot to me because it’s a chance to give something back to an organisation that makes a real difference in people’s lives across the community.

I’m proud to support their work while taking on a personal challenge that pushes me to improve my health. Being a chunky 19 stone 52 year old at the start of 2026, this is a big step toward getting fitter and losing weight.

Combining a meaningful cause with a clear personal goal is giving me the motivation to get out and train, raise as much money as possible for the CT, and to prove that positive change is possible.

If you can spare a few quid that will go directly to helping people taking part in the many positive activities that the Communitry Trust offers, then I will ensure that I do my best with the 10k.
