Clarendon Way Trail Marathon - 40k for 40 years! · 30 September 2023

We are a national charity working to transform the hopes and happiness of young people facing abuse, exploitation and neglect. We support them through their most serious life challenges and we campaign tirelessly for the big social changes that will improve the lives of those who need hope most.

Story

A group of friends are planning on jogging/plodding/hobbling the Clarendon Way from Salisbury Cathedral to Winchester Cathedral which is give-or-take a trail marathon (loosely in aid of 'celebrating' a 40th birthday - hence 40k for 40 years!).

Some of us will do the full 40k, some will do the half marathon from Broughton, and some will do the last 10k from Farley Mount, and there'll even be a final group joining for the final 5k into Winchester!

We are fundraising for The Children's Society - a UK charity which lobbies on behalf of young people facing abuse, exploitation and neglect, campaigning for social change particularly in areas such as:

- Children in care

- Young carers

- Child refugees and migrants

- Young people with addiction

- Children's mental health

It would be wonderful if you could sponsor us, even just a few quid, and contribute to this important cause.
