Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge · 18 May 2024 to 19 May 2024 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Losing mum last September, only a year after losing Dad, was completely heartbreaking. Mum had Alzheimer's and the speed with which it took hold was such a shock to us all. Mum was so brave and every minute we spent together was just so special. Alzheimer's is such a cruel disease and I want to raise money for the Alzheimer's society in memory of mum, who will always be with me in my heart.

I will be participating in the Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge on 18th May and this will without a doubt be the toughest thing I have ever done. I will be walking 100km continuously, including a 2300m elevation, starting at Corfe Castle and finishing in Bridport. As I am not stopping overnight, I also will be walking throughout the night and I honestly have no idea how long it will take me!

Any donations will be so gratefully received and will definitely help keep me motivated throughout my training. Thank you.
