We inspire and support the creativity of disabled people.

Story

I’m running the Seaton Classic Bangor 10K on Saturday 27th September, to raise money for Open Arts, an arts and disability organisation close to my heart.

Managing our core programme, I see every day how creativity transforms lives, and know how important the programme is to the people I work with, as described in the words of our participants:

“If you are thinking about joining Open Arts art classes I would say go for it with gusto and embrace it, learn from everyone, there's no pressure to perform. It is a safe space where people with disabilities are valued. You can develop your abilities and make new friends. It is great!”

"Just because you are disabled it doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t enjoy the arts, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t participate in your particular art form and that’s what Open Arts is all about: opening up the arts to everyone."

Open Arts’ mission is to inspire and support the creativity and artistic development of disabled people, and I’m proud to be part of that journey.

By sponsoring me, you’ll be helping us continue to provide opportunities for disabled people to express themselves, grow artistically, and share their talents with the world.
