On September 28th, 2025, Andrew the most wonderful, kind, big-hearted generous man passed away at St Richard's Hospice at the age of 60 after a valiant battle with a rare form of cancer losing his battle less than a year since diagnosis. Andrew was an adored Hubby, Dad, Bampy, uncle, sibling, brother in law and friend to many. Always up for an adventure, Andrew asked that I undertake this adventure on his behalf.

I kindly ask you to donate to this cause to enable the hospice to continue its amazing work. While there, only 9 of the 17 beds were available due to funding constraints. Without the hospice's support, Andrew would not have experienced the wonderful last two weeks of life surrounded by care and love.

I am embarking on an epic adventure to trek a remote section of the Great Wall of China from Gubeikou to Jinshanling and Simatai on October 17th, 2026. This magnificent structure built on rolling hills presents a unique challenge with its hundreds of thousands of stairs—some crumbling and resembling steep gravel slopes.

As I take on this incredible journey, I am raising sponsorship to support the vital care and services that St Richard's Hospice provides to patients and families across Worcestershire.
