I'm going to be part of Team Lullaby and running the London Marathon in 2025!

The Lullaby Trust is a charity that saves babies' lives and supports bereaved families. Around 3 babies a week still die from sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), The Lullaby Trust is committed to bringing that number down to zero.

In my work at Baby Basics in Sheffield we partner with The Lullaby Trust in helping to provide a safe space to sleep with the project Beds for Babies. By providing beds for children aged 5 and under we are helping to alleviate bed poverty and also create safe spaces for babies & children to sleep.

I will be raising awareness and funds that will be helping families who have lost a baby to receive specialist help, funding research to prevent more babies from dying suddenly and unexpectedly, and allowing more parents to receive advice on safer baby sleep.

A bit about me: 2 years ago whilst living in India I had major surgery on my neck which had a significant effect on my physical, emotional and mental health. Following a return to the UK with my family, a year on (despite other health problems in our fsmily) I was able to complete a half marathon in Sheffield.
