I am so excited to have secured a space running the London Marathon 2026 for a charity which means so much to me, the incredible NSPCC.

I became a teacher because I wanted to make a difference in little people's lives, and from early in my career I worked with vulnerable children. I was quickly exposed to how much help the NSPCC provides to children and families in need of support. Motivated by this, a large part of my job now as Assistant Head is providing pastoral care and emotional support to children, with their wellbeing at the heart of everything I do. The NSPCC also provides incredible support for schools through their 'Speak Out Stay Safe' programmes and commitment to influencing policy, improving child protection practice and training others to safeguard children.

All children deserve a safe and happy start to life, and by sponsoring me on this run, you will be hugely contributing towards making this a reality for all children in the UK.

I have pledged to raise £2200 for the NSPCC and kindly ask for any help you can provide.
