I am swimming a two-person relay across the English Channel in September 2025. I am swimming with Mike, who I have been hooked up with through our charity, The Alexa Trust.

Having not swam seriously for many years, I got back into swimming in the summer of 2024 and started setting some goals and challenges for myself. Swimming the English Channel has always been a goal of mine, and who knows, I may one day attempt a solo crossing but for now I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to cross as part of a two-person relay. It will be challenging for sure. Mike and I will do one hour stints for the 14 or so hours that it will take to reach France. This will be exciting for the first 6 or 7 hours but once tiredness sets in and the cold starts hitting, we have been assured that it gets tough! So please give what you can to support this fantastic charity which supports parents with babies in Neonatal care.
