I’m raising money for Sue Ryder in loving memory of my mum, Jane, and of Mark and Glenda.

Mum spent an extended period of time in a Sue Ryder hospice before she passed away, and during that time the care, compassion and dignity shown to her - and to our family - meant more than words can ever express.

2025 has been an incredibly difficult year, made even harder by the absence of Mark, who always listened to my complaints (usually about the latest love interest) and dismiss them with warmth, humour and perspective. His hugs and kindness, alongside Glenda’s, are deeply missed.

In 2026, I’ll be honouring their memories by challenging myself to walk 2,026 miles over the year, raising funds to help Sue Ryder continue providing vital care and support to families going through the toughest times.
