We are running 200km to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society in tribute to our grandparents Effie Dowling, Horace Makin and Maureen Craig, all of whom suffered from this terribly debilitating disease.

The running races will consist of 10km, 10 mile and half marathon events totalling approximately 200km between July 2024 and April 2025.

Alzheimer’s Society is working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.

They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future for them and their families.
