Monkey Music is 30! What a milestone, and we are celebrating this year by trying to raise £30,000 for Nordoff and Robbins music therapy charity.

Having worked in music education all that time, I can see the impact music can have on little one's emotional well being, brain development and communication. The work Nordoff and Robbins do is absolutely amazing, delivering music therapy to a range of clients across the UK, including some of the most vulnerable people in society​. When I volunteered to run the half marathon, I was a fair weather ParkRunner, with no other running experience. Ever the optimist, I assumed it'd be a like parkrun but a bit further - it's probably good I didn't know how much harder than that it would be! I've also realised along the way, that I love music and singing (and most other activities actually) so very much more than I like running... I'm sure it'll be great on the day???
