Jeni and Jan are raising money to sponsor children from institutions and orphanages across the Algarve to attend Camp Sonshine Portugal, an international summer camp held annually in Vale Judeu in the Algarve.

€160 will cover the cost for a child to attend the camp. Additionally, we would like to raise a further €40, which will be used to provide each child with a pillow, a backpack for their belongings and, if possible, some pyjamas or clothing.

As a team, we hope to raise around €10,000, which will allow 50 children to attend camp in 2025. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us to get closer to our goal and will be hugely appreciated.

As part of our fundraising efforts, Jan and Jeni will be running the Belfast marathon on the 4th of May to raise sponsorship funds.
