My daughter and 4 friends have joined a local Beavers group and they are trying to achieve their badges. One badge is a community badge and they have chosen to try and raise funds for a local swimming pool - New Earswick , York, where they have swimming lessons. The pool is needing £250,000 to stay open. As a group we have a stall at Rawcliffe Carnival which is taking place on Saturday 13th May 2023. We have treasure maps which will have prizes behind certain squares. We have collected some great prizes and hope we can raise enough to help the pool reach its target.
