Kalems life changed forever the day he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, aged 15

What was once a carefree teenage life became a full time job managing blood glucose levels, insulin and needles

Every day with Type 1 diabetes is a quiet fight for life – a battle no one sees, but one that never stops

Sadly, Kalems journey came to a peaceful end on 31st May, aged just 27
