Harris was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease at aged 4 in 2020. All our lives turned upside down overnight, especially Harris'.

Symptoms aside, the anxiety the hospital visits & treatments caused was the most difficult for Harris to adapt to. As parents we felt totally helpless but our family & friends (second family) gave us well needed support.

4 years on, Harris is still chasing remission but is starting to return to sports; now enjoying martial arts, swimming & football.

Harris is now more aware of his condition & the importance of raising awareness of symptoms & also the amazing Charities out there doing what they can for people like him.

The Catherine McEwan Foundation support not only patients with Crohn's & Colitis but also their families & the research they fund give us hope that a cure is possible!

Team Harris includes some lifelong friends, their maws & paws. Due to the kids being under 10, it's the 3 mile walk they'll be tackling in Edinburgh on Sunday 15th of September.
