Jenna's fundraiser for Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance

Jenna Glen is raising money for Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance

Sponsored Walk · 18 April 2026

Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance is Scotland’s only charity-funded air ambulance service. We rely on public support to keep flying and responding to time-critical emergencies wherever they occur in Scotland. No one in Scotland should die because help can't get there in time.

Story

Most of you reading this will be aware that my dad (Eddie Baillie) received a life saving double lung transplant last year giving him a second chance of life. To celebrate the first birthday of his new lungs, and everything this past year has meant to him, we're holding a 10k sponsored walk - with my dad leading the way!!

When he needed to travel to Newcastle for his transplant, my dad was lucky enough to receive transport from the Scottish Air Ambulance who got him to Freemans hospital in around 50 minutes, compared to what would have been a 4 hour journey by road. That flight meant that the whole transplant procedure could start much quicker.

The Scottish Air Ambulance is an incredible service that is entirely funded by donations and we wanted to give something back to ensure they can keep doing their amazing work.

Every donation, big or small helps keep this vital service flying. If you're able to donate or share this page we would be so thankful.
