Story
As big Burnley fans, on 18th November, we will be joining others to sleep rough for the night under the stars (and probably rain!) at Turf Moor to raise money for 4 local charities that are locally important and linked closely to the work we both do. We will get to go home but lots of people don't.
We would be grateful for donations of any amount. The £300 target is just the minimum for us both to take part.
The charities are:
Emmaus - is a homelessness charity that provides a bed & support for the night.
Burnley FC in the Community - inspires, supports and delivers change to communities across East Lancs including a main foodbank.
Pendleside Hospice - offers therapies and counselling, respite care, pain management and, when the time comes for specialist palliative and end of life care inc bereavement support for adults & children free of charge.
Safenet - offer a safe place to stay if needed, along with support, guidance, and practical help to create a safer, happier, and healthier future for survivors of domestic abuse. Services cover the North West of England.
