On the 12th of October, I’ll be running the Chicago Marathon with my brother James. I’ll be raising money for GCA which is an autoimmune disease called giant cell arteritis. GCA affects men and women above 50 and is where cells in the arteries grow in size. If not treated in time it can cause sudden and permanent damage to eyesight.

Three years ago my dad was diagnosed with GCA. His eyesight and life has been completely changed and I would love to raise awareness so that others in the future can know the signs and get the treatment they need in time.

I have been training for four months and honestly it has been a lot harder than I could ever imagine so please give what you can. Thank you!
