We're the UK’s only youth-focused breast cancer awareness charity, on a mission to get every young person checking their chest. We want all young people to know the signs and see their GP if they notice any changes. We do this because early detection saves lives.

Story

Here we are again raising money for the wonderful CoppaFeel! - please do take a look at what they do and why below.

Reading this you most likely know that I have been through a breast cancer diagnosis twice in my 40s. I have been incredibly lucky to have found my cancer myself, and that I was taken seriously by the wonderful NHS and removal/ treatment was accessed quickly. I know what to look for, and I check myself regularly but many don't and with cancer early diagnosis is incredibly important. It is very tempting to think that cancer is an older person's disease, but that is often not the case: I thought I was young at 41 (and I was) but I am by no means an outlier. Raising money for CoppaFeel! helps to bring knowledge of what to look for, and what to do when you find something, to young people and does save lives.

Please help me help CoppaFeel!

This time I am off on a 5 day trek in Iceland with two of my wonderful CoppaTrek! friends. We are self-funding as much as we can so that we maximise the money going to the charity... Along the way there's a half marathon (in a boob suit if I sell enough Lottertitty numbers), a pilates class and who knows what else.

Thank you for your generosity - it means the world.

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest.

We educate people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests regularly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves. We do this because when diagnosed early and accurately, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection truly can save lives.
