There are some things that you just have to do. One was taking up climbing at age 65 and getting reasonably competent over the next seven years; then a combination of injury and the 'pandemic' put a stop to it. Now nearly 77, heights beckon again and I figure that, if I could climb 23m and abseil down, going up 100m in a lift and abseiling down has to be a lot less work.

And anyway, as a fully committed 'cat lady', anything I can do to make life better for the feline species has got to be worth the effort…
