Liam is running the London marathon for his mum, Jayne, who sadly lost her battle to cancer in 2015. Jayne was supported by St Luke's, who played an important role in her care during this time.

Liam has never ran a marathon before, and he only signed up to this because of me. We made a deal if we got through the ballot, we would commit to running the marathon! Sadly, I never got a place (not sad at all), but Liam has and he is giving it everything he has! With little running experience, his training has started and he is keen to get over the finish line in memory of his mum!
