Story
For the next six weeks I’m challenging myself to walk for 10 minutes a day, 5 days a week as part of the Team Walk for ME 2026.
That might not sound like much, but since being diagnosed with ME / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, even gentle daily movement can be a real challenge.
This is about more than exercise — it’s about rebuilding trust with my body and raising awareness of a condition that is often misunderstood and underdiagnosed. I’m raising money for a charity that works to improve diagnosis, support research, and help people living with ME/CFS get the care they deserve.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help support their work and mean a lot to me personally. Thank you so much for supporting me and this cause. 💛

Only biomedical research can find the causes of ME/CFS, improve diagnosis and treatment, and, ultimately, arrive at a cure. That’s why research is our focus.
We've awarded 64 full grants and 5 PhD-level awards since 2000 and invested over £3.5million. But research is expensive and becoming more so every day. That’s the challenge we face, and that’s why we need your help.
