Last year in Feb 2023 I suffered a life changing stroke.

My previously full, busy life as a business owner, employer, mother, wife & lover of life was shattered in an instant.

I never lost my love for life, but I did lose the ability to walk & control the left hand side of my body.

Thanks to the teams at RVH & Ulster and with great support from NICHS I have started rebuilding my life.

NICHS supported me with 18 weeks of physical therapy, helping me re-learn how to walk.

Now I'm now going to learn to walk on fire.
