Story
I’m a busy mummy of three, and this year I’m taking on the Great North Run with my two brothers… because clearly, sibling rivalry never really ends! 😜
We’re running for someone very special — my daughter (their niece), Dorothy, who has cystic fibrosis.
I ran it last year with my husband Spencer (Dorothy’s daddy) and said never again 😱… but there’s no way I’m letting my brothers show me up! (Girls rule, right? 💁♀️)
We’re so lucky to have an amazing, supportive family around us — and we’re doing this together for Dorothy.
Cystic fibrosis is a genetic condition affecting over 11,000 people in the UK, causing serious lung and digestive issues. It impacts daily life in so many ways, but charities like the Cystic Fibrosis Trust are working towards better treatments and, one day, a cure.
If you can donate or share, we’d be so grateful — it truly means everything to our family 💛
