We need your support please we've committed ourselves to another challenge, well Alan did anyway! Off the back of the marathon exploits earlier in the year he's decided that a cycle challenge would be appropriate.

We've created a team of 6 to support CRISIS. The plan is that we are one of 40 teams of 6 trying travel the circumference of the world (40,075km) in 24 hours on a bike. Sound really easy doesn't it. That's 1,002km's between us in a day (cycling the distance from London to Edinburgh!) or 167km each over 4 hours. We'll start at 10 am on 12th September and not sleep for 24 hours as we support each other (and eat lots along the way!).

We are doing this as Crisis, Lloyds Banking Group and Simon Community believe everyone should have a safe and secure place to call home.

Our ambitious partnership will improve access to truly affordable, high quality homes and support those who have experienced homelessness to take the next step in their career.

Within 6 months of the partnership, LBG colleagues raised the first £1 Million. This is an incredible feat but we can't stop here. More people than ever across the UK are facing homelessness.

Homelessness is not inevitable, together we can end it.
