Story
Making The World Better Because...
Running buddies Jenny and Kayleigh are taking on the challenge of running the Manchester Marathon on behalf of The Magic Future Foundation and in memory of Oli 'Felix' Wissenbach and all other victims of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome.
Oli died unexpectedly at just 25 years of age on the first day of a family holiday. Oli was kind, humble, had a zest for life and lived with the sole purpose of wanting to leave the world a better place.
The Magic Future Foundation are honouring Oli and his message by building schools in some of the most poverty stricken areas to help transform communities around the world through education. 29 schools have already been built, with 4 more underway. The aim is to build 100 schools. Education is a powerful poverty-fighting tool that these children and their families can take, own, and run with for generations to come. It’s the definition of sustainability.
By taking on this challenge, we are hoping to make our contribution to a wonderful cause, and to make the World just that little bit better.
