I am raising funds for Bolton Destitute Animal Shelter because I want to see every animal cared for with a loving home.

Having grown up with pets and now ruled by two cats (Sasha and Tiesto), I've always loved animals. But working a week's experience at a vet practice at 14 swiftly taught me that I'm way too sentimental and I'd bring them all home from a shelter! So supporting those who can do this incredible work is the closest thing I can do to help.

This will be my third Manchester Marathon and, even though I love running, I've got a bit of unfinished business with it. My first in 2021, I finished but ended up in hospital, my second in 2023 I finished in 6.5 hours as my friend was injured. So I want to see what I can do with a proper training plan and a motivation to succeed.
