I am incredibly excited to share that I’ll be running the London Marathon 2027 with Team Whizz-Kidz! 🇬🇧🏃‍♀️

As a parent of a child with a disability, this cause feels deeply personal to me. I have firsthand experience navigating how complicated, exhausting, and often overwhelming it can be to secure the right supports, therapies, equipment, and opportunities for your child. Families spend so much time advocating, coordinating, researching, and pushing for access to resources that should be easier to obtain. It can be emotionally draining, financially stressful, and incredibly isolating at times.

That is why Whizz-Kidz’ mission resonates so strongly with me.

Whizz-Kidz is the UK’s leading charity supporting young wheelchair users up to age 25, helping provide not only the right mobility equipment, but also the confidence, skills, and independence that allow young people to fully participate in the world around them. They also advocate for a more accessible and inclusive society so that disability never becomes a barrier to opportunity.

As someone who believes deeply that every child deserves access, inclusion, and the ability to move through the world with confidence, I am honored to run on behalf of this incredible organization.

I’ll be fundraising £2,200 to support Whizz-Kidz and their mission of creating a world where every young wheelchair user is mobile, enabled, and included.
