WELCOME TO TOUR DE BROADMAYNE!

The week of 15th April will see the children and staff of Broadmayne First School take part in the Tour de Broadmayne - cycling as far as we can on a spin bike - to raise money to purchase a bicycle roundabout for us to use in our playtime and lunch breaks.

This incredible, innovative piece of play equipment helps children to learn balance, cycling skills, endurance, fitness as well as fostering their ability to effectively communicate and work within a team...and all within play!! We also aim to enthuse our children and families to consider more environmentally friendly modes of transport where possible, promoting a love of cycling, exercise, teamwork and being outdoors.

Every child and staff member at Broadmayne school will have the chance to do their bit and collectively chalk up the miles whilst working on their cycling skills and stamina.

Please help us to purchase this wonderful piece of equipment so that your child (and future children of Broadmayne) can benefit from the many qualities that this roundabout will develop in each and every child.
