I'm inspired by the work that Willow Wood Hospices does, so I wanted to raise money for them, in loving memory of my wonderful husband, Ric. Willow wood provided a safe haven for Ric during his battle with cancer, he received counselling which he found invaluable, alongside holistic therapies which created calm in amongst the most turbulent time. Such was the warm and caring nature of the hospice and their wonderful staff, that Ric made the choice to be here at the end, should his wish to be at home not be possible.

I've created this page because I want to make a difference, to help another family in their hour of need. Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Donate' button. I am walking 5km for Willow Wood Hospice, alongside our Nephew Jack, to provide high-quality specialist palliative and end-of-life care, support and education across Tameside and Glossop.
